Hey guys Ryan (TheRyanLamont) here with this week’s ‘NZYT’er of the week’. First of all I’d like to thank the few of you that voted – it seems this week’s poll wasn’t as popular. But of course with New Years and such coming up lower views on the posts are to be expected.
So, the winner for this week is Marc (BarkMarc) who got 4 votes (that counted) and as I check the poll again now the votes seem to have increased to 8 (even though they don’t count – but it solidifies his win and shows his popularity amongst NZYT)
So Marc, a 17-year-old kiwi vlogger who comes from lovely ol’ Kapiti! He uploads regularly on his YouTube channel and has 599 subscribers as I write this blog (which is at 1:56AM on 31st December 2010) So he is one of the more highly subscribed NZYT’ers in the community. And no wonder people subscribe, he makes highly entertaining vlogs, awesome character sketches and snazzy short films. There is a real variety of high quality videos on Marc’s channel, which I hope you’ll all go and check out!
In Marc’s latest video “JERRYS TOP PARENTING TIPS” he portrays one of his awesomely funny characters, Jerry, who decides to give us a bit of parenting advice. This is a great video, that clearly illustrates Marc’s talents in script writing, humour, characterisation and acting. I personally look forward to some more of Jerry in my subscription box.
Marc is a truly talented individual who is a real inspiration to his fellow NZYT’ers, for constantly uploading such high quality, entertaining videos. Marc is clearly passionate about the NZYT community also, as he has attended the skype conference we had the other day and has appeared many times during ‘The Big NZYT Chat’ on skype. I hope that NZYT will support this highly entertaining YouTuber during 2011, and help him rise to YouTube partner (which I think Marc will get in 2011 – since he really deserves it!)
So that’s all for this post! Please watch the videos I’ve embedded in this post – they’re some of my favourites of Marc’s. And don’t forget to subscribe to Marc, and follow him on Twitter. I hope you all enjoyed this week’s ‘NZYT’er of the week’ – and be sure to tune in next week to vote for the next ‘NZYT’er of the week’
Thanks for reading guys!
