Hi guys, Ryan Lamont (TheRyanLamont) here with a wee post about the achievements of myself and fellow New Zealand Vlogger Amber (theloyalbadger). As some of you may have heard, Amber and myself were offered YouTube Partnership by Google a few days ago, and we’ve been celebrating ever since.
It’s great to see that Google is offering dedicated New Zealand video creators the benefits of full partnership, allowing them to gain money to allow for the future improvement of their content. But of course Amber and I are not celebrating the fact that we can earn money, since we have been monetized for the last few months, it’s more the recognition from YouTube and the branding benefits that we’re really excited about.
So I’ve embedded this post with our latest videos, and hope that you’ll enjoy them. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out both Amber and I’s channel and support us by viewing, commenting, liking and subscribing to our videos. Thanks guys, the support is much appreciated!
hey guys, Ryan (TheRyanLamont) here with this week’s NZYT’er of the week, or should I say NZYT’ers. Yes, the winners this week are Holly, Blair, Jess and Elise from the collab channel (thetogetheralones). These guys received 6 out of the 11 votes cast before the midnight deadline.
So the premise of this channel is that these awesome vloggers will document their experiences and social lives whilst at university – a concept that is intriguing and I haven’t seen it done before. So congrats on making the first uni collab channel guys, or at least the first in New Zealand.
So these guys started their channel up on the 25th December 2010, and uploaded their first video on the 15th February 2011. So far these uni vloggers have racked up 17 subscribers, and they definitely deserve more! So be sure to support your fellow kiwis guys and subscribe to this awesome kiwi vloggers! I think if we all get behind this wicked vloggers we can get our first successful NZYT collab channel set up. Since NZYT hasn’t had a successful and long-lasting collab channel since FiveAwesomeKiwis.
So in this post I’ve posted a few of my favourite videos of theirs, which I hope you’ll all watch, like, rate and such! We all need to support each other if we want to become a strong community, so I hope you’ll all help this growing NZYT collab channel. I really believe that these guys have what it takes to get subscriber counts in the thousands – all they need now is your support.
Hey guys, Ryan (TheRyanLamont) here with the nominees for this week’s NZYT’er of the week. Picking the nominees is getting steadily harder as nearly everyone has won now, and I only pick people who have recently made a video. With our small community struggling to make videos regularly, this process is getting very hard. So, I’ve decided to just put in the best people, even if they have already won. But it’d be awesome to see new people joining the community and regularly making videos – so encourage any NZYT’ers you find! So the nominees for this week are as follows:
Hey guys, Ryan (TheRyanLamont) here with this week’s winner of ‘NZYT’er of the week’. So this week the winner gained 7 out of the 11 votes on the poll, and is Tofu (theTofushow)! All of us that partake in ‘The Big NZYT Chat’ on Skype will surely know of Tofu by now, and those that read the blog regularly should too.
Tofu is 18-years-old and started his YouTube channel on October 5th 2010. Since then Tofu has uploaded eight vlogs, gained 1,155 total upload views and 49 subscribers. The always hat-wearing Tofu creates comedic vlogs about a variety of topics, with his latest vlog being about things that annoy him, such as sales people and YouTube thumbnails.
Tofu is also an eager and supportive member of the NZYT community, who often submits guest blogs to this site and brainstorms ideas for how to improve and strengthen the community. I think Tofu is a greta member of the NZYT community, who has the potential to become a great YouTube partner. But for that to happen he needs the support of the NZYT community! So be sure to subscribe to his channel and comment and ‘like’ his videos!
